    He stood there deep within the bushes, his bow in his right hand. His black leather kept him well hidden within the forest shadows. His target was a merchant caravan headed for the Capital. If he could manage to steal the supplies, the rebels in the east would have a fighting chance. If he failed, everything he knew will be gone. Can't afford to mess this up, he thought as he rubbed the scar on his forearm, bringing out memories of a time long past.    The clanking sound of hooves broke his train of thought. *Description: After reading about the Gallic Wars (and listening to a lot of Eluveitie) I wanted to write a short piece about a woman who narrowly escaped a siege. I wrote this in a few minutes so this is very raw to say the least. Let me know what you think!* She sat there alone, on top of a willow tree, tears frozen by the winter breeze.
